NEXT BIT OF INFO... This is the surprise, which hopefully you all will be excited about, those of you who have finished reading Depth anyway. I'll make this so it's not really a spoiler so even if you haven't finished Depth yet, you can read this news. And the news is... *drumroll*
I decided to make a prequel-esque novella to Depth!!! See, instead of an epilogue (which I never really felt right about in the first place), I'm going to do a novella (which is a shorter novel-type story) in Beck's POV, mostly prior-to Depth's timeline. So this new novella is sort-of like a spin-off prequel because I really wanted to explore Beck a little more and give you (and myself! hehe) a look into his past to dive deeper into the details maybe not so throughly explained in Depth. This, of course, is going to be a very rough draft as well and I will not be posting it on Figment until I've finished it because that's what I want to do. I'm not sure how long it will be, but I hope to finish it before school starts back. But I'll keep you all updated! It will be a challenge to write completely in a guy's POV though I am really excited because, well, I love Beck and I think he deserves some more words! I think it makes more sense to do this than an epilogue.
Also, I MIGHT do another novella after this one in Shiloh's POV, which will take place in the post-Depth timeline. I'm not sure on that one yet. I think it would be pushing it/dragging the story out too much.

So what do you all think? I know some of you will probably have doubts and of course I myself do, but I just want to try this and see where it goes. I am so proud of Depth and I just really feel like I can't completely let go of all these characters until I give them a little more explanation. Of course, since I'm not doing an epilogue, I do like some things open-ended. Anyway, this is what I want to write now. I'm not ready for a whole new story and new characters just yet. I hope you all understand and I hope you all are excited too. Please please please let me know your thoughts, and you can always PM me if you don't want to comment :))
